The October inspection

Before anything else happened, the roof was walked and photographed — the whole field, not a convenient corner of it. The worn shingles made their own case.

October 21. The house from the drive — single-story brick, the old roof over the porch gables.

Build morning, under cloud

January came in gray. Before the first square of old roof moved, everything below it was covered or carried clear.

January 13. The flowerbeds under tarps, tear-off already opening the roof above.

Down to the wood

The drone kept station overhead while the old roof came off. One frame holds the whole method: old shingle, bare deck, and new underlayment meeting on the same slope.

January 13. Straight down mid-tear-off — old shingle, bare deck, and underlayment in one frame.

The system, layer by layer

Synthetic underlayment sealed the deck, then the new field went up slope by slope. The spec sat on the driveway where the camera could read it.

Mid-build. The drone straight over the sealed deck as the shingle line climbs the slopes.
January 13. The spec staged on the driveway — shingle bundles, cap nails, felt rolls, new pipe flashings.

Two days later, from the air

The clouds that sat over the build were gone by the time the drone came back for finals.
